Enrichment Trip to the Radio City Tower – right to the top!

Year 3 pupils were treated to an extra special enrichment trip last week – to the very top of the Radio City tower. The trip was provided as part of ‘Radio Broadcast Day’ and the children got to experience what it is like at a radio station.Despite the fact that they sky was cloudy and grey the children still had an amazing view of our fabulous city. They used their maps to find some of our iconic land marks, which look so different from way up high. Once again, their behaviour was immaculate and they were an absolute credit to the school. One child commented: “It was brilliant seeing the place where Radio City 96.7 is broadcast from. It was really scary though, I cannot believe how high up we were! You could see the whole city”
