Speak Out, Stay Safe Assembly with the NSPCC

On Monday morning, we kicked off the new week with a specialist assembly for all pupils from Year 1 to Year 6. As part of our whole-school topic, the Speak Out, Stay Safe programme gives a generation of children the knowledge and understanding they need to stay safe from abuse and neglect. The pupils were taught to speak out if they were worried, either to a trusted adult or to Childline. This initiative is just one of the many safeguarding themes embedded into our curriculum. We firmly believe that our pupils should be equipped with the relevant knowledge and understanding to help them deal with these issues should they ever be faced with them. It is part of our commitment to safeguarding our pupils!
