Florence Melly Community Primary School
Welcome to our new look website! We have spent considerable time upgrading the site’s usability and updating the content. We hope you like it! If you can DREAM it, you can do it!

Earlier this term, pupils from across the school participated in our whole-school election – the aim, to appoint our new DREAM TEAM captains. The captains replace our old Head Boy and Head Girl roles, more fitting with our commitment to promoting LGBTQ+ awareness in all aspects of school life. Twelve team captains, all in Year 6, were appointed after delivering rallying speeches, outlining their credentials for the position. The school then took to the polls to vote in their new leaders. What a fabulous way to live out the fundamental British Value of democracy! These house captains will play an integral role in the school’s Junior Leadership Team and act as figure heads for the houses that they lead.

Meet our DREAM Team Captain…
