As a Spanish speaking school we would like to celebrate our learning and to raise the profile of modern foreign languages in our school, we will be staging a Spanish day on Tuesday 18th July 2017.

Each class will celebrate a different Spanish speaking country, to deepen their understanding of the Spanish language. We would like to encourage the children to dress in traditional clothing: flamenco dresses, football kits, or any colour from their country’s flag.

Reception: Spain

Year 1: Argentina

Year 2: Chile

Year 3: Columbia

Year 4: Peru

Year 5: Mexico

Year 6: Ecuador

The children will participate in numerous activities designed around Spanish speaking countries and celebrate the festival of St James.

A letter will be issued by school detailing all the activities.
