Just a quick update to let you all know that we are working frantically to organise the effective and safe distribution of the FSM vouchers for those children entitled to them (benefit entitlement not the infant universal entitlement and those children currently NOT attending school). We are hopeful that the first £15 voucher will be emailed to eligible parents/carers later today and the second, to make up for last week, sent out on Friday 15th January. The vouchers will then be emailed weekly. We have decided to use a different company – Wonde – to distribute the vouchers electronically based on great feedback from other schools. We also didn’t want families to have to unnecessarily leave the house to collect physical vouchers. Your safety is important to us. We appreciate that we have not sorted these out as quickly as we would’ve liked but we really did not want to send out the food parcels (for obvious reasons – see the national press for further details). We will keep you updated.
