Our children have expressed an interest in positively celebrating LGBT+ inclusion through a ‘Wear a Splash of Colour with Pride Day’. June is Pride Month so we would like to celebrate this through a whole school drop down day on Friday 28th June, so that we can take time to explore the significance of this commemoration for the LGBT+ community.

On this day, children are invited to wear bright, colourful clothing for school. Within classes, we will be researching the history of the Pride Flag, learning about inspirational members of the LGBT+ community, creating colourful pieces of artwork and engaging in our very own Pride March.
